This site is maintained by the Department of Small Business Services (SBS), which runs New York City’s certification programs, including the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program, the Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) Program, and the Locally-based Business Enterprise (LBE) Program.

The M/WBE and EBE programs encourage a competitive and diverse NYC business environment by promoting the fair participation of historically underserved small businesses in City contracting, while the LBE Program promotes the growth of New York City’s small construction businesses. SBS also provides a host of free services to help certified vendors grow, including educational seminars, business counseling, networking events, and guidance on Bids and RFPs.
